Ms. Brighid Pulskamp is a citizen of the Navajo Nation, Tsinajinnii clan. Brighid (aka Birdie) was born and raised in Tongva traditional territory (Los Angels, CA). Brighid has been professionally working with Native youth and families for the past 25 years and has the opportunity to share her stories, knowledge, inspiration and art work with many. Ms. Pulskamp is an advocate for cultural/language preservation and revitalization & community wellness by providing workshops/trainings from art classes, educational & advocacy trainings. Brighid's art work is highly sought after in the community. Her work has been featured in such publications as the New York Times and Time for Kids. Brighid's work is in permanent collections the Autry National Center and the Ford Museum.
